On June 15-17, 2020, MediatEUr organised the EU Community of Practice Meeting 2020 on Looking into the Future of EU Mediation: What Happens Next? The online event was attended by over 700 mediation practitioners from all over the world and held 32 panel discussions.

Throughout the three days participants had the opportunity of engaging in dynamic and stimulating discussions on mediation and developing ideas and recommendations for EU policy processes and the new Concept for EU Mediation and EEAS mediation guidelines.

On June 16, 2020 the MWMN held a panel discussion on Regional Women Mediator Networks: what role in the future of EU mediation?  The session, chaired by Irene Fellin, Head of the MWMN Secretariat, saw the participation of members from the different regional mediator networks who shared their experience and discussed the role of women mediator networks in enhancing women’s meaningful and effective participation in peace processes.
