A two-day meeting organised by the Türkiye Antenna of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network was held in Diyarbakır, Türkiye, bringing together representatives of women’s civil society organisations from different backgrounds to envision an inclusive peace that reflects the needs and expectations of diverse women’s groups. The meeting included facilitated discussions on the role and importance of women in peacebuilding in Türkiye and aimed to identify commonalities—and differences—among women’s organizations regarding expectations from the peace process. The meeting provided a sAll Postspace for communication, idea-sharing, and relationship-building among women representing different societal segments in Türkiye. It also sought to strengthen capacities for peacebuilding by enhancing collaboration potential and increasing women’s agency and visibility in the ongoing peace process through knowledge transfer and the exchange of experiences.
