On October 27, WIIS Italy, in collaboration with the Global Alliance of Regional Women Mediator Networks and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has organized the event “What Role for Women Mediators and Peacebuilders on Current Security Challenges? The Case of Afghanistan”. The event will also be an occasion to celebrate the anniversary of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) on “Women, Peace and Security” and hear the mediators’ perspectives.
